Haley and Nicholas met in college through a mutual friend. With Nicholas on the road for work and Haley helping heal others they were overwhelmed trying to plan a destination wedding from afar. The couple ended up having more family attend than they anticipated. We were able to help them navigate through this by adding additional rooms to their room block, negotiating the same original rates, and were able to provide expertise that allowed them to not have to front the 15% deposit for the rooms. 

 Always envisioned a destination wedding in a tropical destination with crystal clear blue waters. Wanted a luxurious experience while still keeping guest budget in mind. It was really important to Haley & Neeko to create a fun experience for their entire family.  They also wanted plenty of guest support as they had family members that had never left the country before.

What made you decide to reach out to us?

We attempted to start the wedding process on our own and both quickly got overwhelmed with trying to navigate booking cost, international differences, and communication with resorts was discouraging. Once finding your profile, explaining what all you both are able to offer it was a no brainer.

Why did you decide to work with us instead of another destination wedding specialist or travel agent?

We loved that you both are a couple from America that is living in Mexico full time, making this your sole job. To us it was important for us to find someone that understood what we needed and matched well with us. Upon meeting with you both on our first zoom call we instantly knew you both would take great care of us and be a blessing in this process.

What has your experience been like during the planning process?

It’s been great so far! You help me narrow down what is important within the timeline of events, what needs to be a priority, and how to navigate bumps along the way. Without your guidance we would be seriously lost at sea. Between being the sole communicator with the resort, communicating with our guests, and ensuring we are completing things with our vendors has been exactly what I needed along the way. Something super unique that I wouldn’t have known without your guidance was booking less rooms for a lower cost and requesting more when we needed, this saved us a few thousand, which we are very grateful for!

What were your biggest concerns or worries about your destination wedding?

Not being in the same country and trying to coordinate an event on our own. This concept was very overwhelming with navigating talking to the resort, different venders, and navigating vender fees. However, this no longer is a concern anymore, knowing I can turn to you both with vast experience in this area, knowing exactly how to guide our decisions.

How would you describe us to a couple needing the services we provide?

I have been describing to my family and friends they are a magical wedding coordinator and travel agent all in one. Not only are they experts on what we need to manage on the travel side, but also experts in the wedding industry. In my opinion, the best of both worlds!

"Sarah and Alden were absolutely amazing throughout our wedding planning process. From the moment we met from our first meeting we knew they would help guide us in the right direction. Please read this review if you’re on the fence with hiring a wedding coordinator/travel agent, it was the best decision we made.

First helping narrowing which resort was best for us (showing PowerPoints of different resort options) always keeping our top priorities in mind. We talked over our aesthetics, location, peak season, cost to us, cost to our guest! All of our wants and needs were carefully sorted through the thousands of resorts and also considering which resort had a reliable wedding department! we tried this on our own but once we met Sarah and Alden we knew they knew so much about the industry and we didn’t and after the first meeting hired them.

From that point forward we would meet for zoom meetings to help us decided what was a priority that month and target deadlines for forms, vendors, and information. Then once we chose our resort they helped coordinate directly with the wedding department (I never once emailed the wedding department) Sarah helped take care of all of that! Then helping direct us with venders that they vet in advance to help us have the best people on our team. They saved us so much money with the fine print and details of room block contracts that I would have been clueless on without them. On top of all the wedding assistance they also navigated booking all our guest, keeping track of head count, cancels, my families twenty questions, and transport! This was a life saver having them to direct my family to!

When we finally had the meeting 3 weeks out from the wedding with the wedding department even the resort coordinator was impressed at how organized we were and everything was fully ready to go. Sarah was a huge help with making sure I stayed on track each month! Then the wedding week/day came and it all went off with a bang! Everyone was on time, all details were perfect and there was hardly any flaws.

On top of wedding planning they also helped book our boat day excursion! They even helped us cancel one that didn’t have everything we wanted and found us a better company and price. This ended up being the best day of the trip and so glad we did it!

Lastly, they also helped coordinate booking our honeymoon, transport, and excursions! This was so nice to just be hands off for once and have someone help us with all the planning! Once we got there we had a sweet note from them with flowers across our entire bed! So sweet.

Hands down I would book them a thousand times over again!! They are an amazing couple and truly cares about your wedding day and makes you feel heard and seen the whole way."
